StarSpeed Veterinary Bond is indicated as a tissue bridge, provided that subcutaneous sutures are used (when appropriate), in the following procedures: • Spays • Neuters • Declaws • Tumor removals • Lacerations • Incisions StarSpeed vet tissue adhesive changes from a liquid to a solid state within seconds of making contact with body tissue. Contains a blue dye, showing where the product has already been administered, making application of the product so much easier. The adhesive stops minor bleeding and binds wound edges. In some instances, the adhesive may replace the need for sutures or bandages.
Recommended for dewclaw removals, minor lacerations, abrasions, suture/staple line sealing, tooth extractions, and oral surgeries. StarSpeed Veterinary Bond also acts as a barrier to keep foreign matter from entering the wound. Each 3 ml bottle contains approximately 150 drops. StarSpeed Veterinary Bond is used to quickly and conveniently close minor wounds. StarSpeed Vet Bond often eliminates the need for sutures or bandages; Creates a strong bond that polymerizes in seconds, Binds wound edges together to promote natural healing. StarSpeed Veterinary Bond is blue, making application easier to see. |
| Directions for Use: |
1. Remove over cap and gently twist off the seal. 2. Apply an appropriate amount of the glue to the desired area. 3. Setting time will vary by thickness of application from 30 seconds to several minutes. 4. If placed on an unwanted area it can easily be wiped off. 5. Replace cap for future use. The glue will wear off naturally after a few days. |
| Precautions/Warnings: |
1. Placing this product in any subcutaneous tissues may lead to a foreign body reaction and potential wound separation. 2. Avoid unintended placement on skin and eyes. 3. Avoid contact with surgical instruments and apparatus (such as gloves). 4. After use, remove disposable pipette tip and discard. 5. Use a new disposable tip for each procedure. 6. Before replacing the screw-top cap, wipe excess adhesive from the piercing tip with an absorbent lint-free wipe to prevent cap from sticking. 7. The product should not be used beyond the indicated expiration date. |

| Storage: |
1. Product can be refrigerated or frozen to extend shelf life before opening. 2. Store bottle upright on shelf in a cool and dry place (away from heat). After opening, DO NOT RETURN BOTTLE TO REFRIGERATOR. |
